There is disclosed herein a suture package (100, 300, 400, 900, 1000) comprising a base (5, 105, 305, 405) having an upwardly extending peripheral wall (15, 115, 315) and an upper surface (20, 120), wherein the upwardly extending peripheral wall has a first height; a cover (10, 110, 310, 910, 1010) having a downwardly extending inner wall (35, 135, 335), the inner wall having a second height that is substantially similar to the first height of the upwardly extending peripheral wall; and a plurality of arcuate rows of posts (40, 140, 340, 440, 840, 940) extending downwardly from the cover, each post having a third height that is substantially similar to the first height of the upwardly extending peripheral wall. |
