PURPOSE: A pedicle screw is provided to steadily maintain a clamping force operated in a rod by changing a rod through an inserting material. CONSTITUTION: A head part(3) is arranged on a screw-in part(2). A U-shaped groove(5) is formed in the head part. The U-shaped groove is formed by two arms(6,7). A rod(4) is inserted to the U-shaped groove. A locking member closes the U-shaped groove. An inserting material(9) partially surrounds the rod. The rod is clamped between a first clamping surface and a second clamping surface. The inserting material has stop surfaces for limiting a clamping operation about the rod. A closing device(8) is engaged with the two arms of the U-shaped groove.
