PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building provided with a space exclusively for dog outside a living room in the building to allow the dog to move freely in a house including an entrance hall during absence of its resident. SOLUTION: In this building, a storage space 2 and the space for the dog 3 are arranged through a door 4 in a storage room 1 having ceiling height of 0.9-1.4 meters, a first doorway 6 provided with a door 6a and a second doorway 15 provided with a door 15a are formed on walls forming the storage room 1 by separating them from each other, the first doorway 6 is formed by facing the space for dog 3, and the second doorway 15 is formed by facing the storage space 2. Since an earthen floor 8 in front of the storage room arranged adjacent to the living room 7 is provided on an outer side of the first doorway 6 and an entrance 5 is provided on an outer side of the second doorway 15, the space for dog 3 is easily formed outside the living room to allow the dog to move freely in the house including the entrance hall while the resident is away from the house.
