PURPOSE: An image sensor, data output method, photographing apparatus and camera is provided to output the information for the image sensor processing to the outside at high speed without enlargement of the circuit size. CONSTITUTION: The image sensor comprises the pixel array block, the register group, and the parallel interface. The pixel array block(11) is composed to obtain the image data by photoelectrically converting the light. The register group(13) is composed to memorize the information about the image sensor processing. The parallel interface(112) is composed to output the image data to outside with the parallel output. The parallel interface outputs the register value group which is not memorized in the register group to the outside when the image data is not outputted to the outside. |
