PURPOSE: A pipe connection socket is provided to conveniently insert a connection pipe to a buffer ring by preventing the interference due to a sealing ring. CONSTITUTION: A pipe connection socket is composed of a socket main body(10), a sealing ring(30), a spike(40), a pressing ring(50), a movable member(60), and a pressing bolt(70). The socket main body is covered by a cover(20). The sealing ring, the spike, the pressing ring, and the movable member are laminated inside the socket main body. An inclined part(61) of the movable member is contacted closely to an inclined part(21) of the cover. The pressing bolt is fastened to the socket main body. The pressing bolt is inserted into the socket main body to make the movable member pressed. The sealing ring seals the circumference of a connection pipe(P2) because the sealing ring is compacted by the descending of the spike in the process which the movable member moves along the inclined unit of the cover by the pressing bolt. The diameter of the spike is contracted by a horizontal component of force(F2) a power(F1) in which the diameter of the spike is applied to the spike, and the spike grips the connection pipe.
