PURPOSE: A locking apparatus in an electronic device, and a system and a method for releasing a lock state of an electronic device are provided to inform intrinsic identification information of a corresponding electronic device to a remote service center, thereby easily initializing a lock release code of an electronic device. CONSTITUTION: A lock releasing code setting unit(22) makes a user set a lock release code. A lock release code setting unit stores the set lock release code in a lock releasing code storage unit(21). An initialization code storage unit(23) stores an intrinsic determination value according to intrinsic identification information of an electronic device. If the user inputs the same code as the initialization code, an initializing unit(24) initializes the lock release code of the lock release code storage unit.
