PURPOSE: A portable terminal is provided to elevate an upper body from a lower body relatively, thereby minimizing a level difference generated between the upper body and the lower body. CONSTITUTION: Upper/lower bodies(110,120) are slide-combined each other to enable relative movement. The upper body includes an elevating unit(150). The elevating unit elevates the upper body according as the upper body is slid. The elevating unit includes a link member and a link operating unit. The link member connects the upper/lower bodies. The link operating unit is connected to the link member. The link operating unit elevates a connection point of the upper body and the link member in a direction vertical to the slide direction.
