PANTS-TYPE DISPOSABLE WEARING ARTICLE

A pants-type disposable wearing article having a base sheet defining front and rear waist region and a crotch region therebetween, and a liquid-absorbent panel placed on the base sheet. The base sheet is provided in the front and rear waist region and the crotch region in vicinities of the front and rear waist regions with waist-surrounding elastic and in the crotch region with leg-surrounding elastic members. Transversely opposite fixed portions of the waist-surrounding and leg-surrounding elastic members are secured to waist and crotch lateral zones and free portions between the fixed portions and secured neither to the base sheet nor to the panel. The free portions of the waist-surrounding and leg-surrounding elastic members three-dimensionally intersect each other and at crossover points of the waist-surrounding and leg-surrounding elastic members, these elastic members are not secured one to another.
