<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect an optical fiber from being broken against a tension received when the optical fiber is put into a harness. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the case of attaching an optical fiber cord 5 including optical fibers 3 each having a core 3a and a tensile-strength fiber 4, the tensile-strength fiber 4 is folded back from the end portion of the jacket 5a of the optical fiber cord 5, and the folded fiber 4 is fixed together with the jacket 5a by the rear part of a fixture 2 by caulking, the front fixing parts of the fixture 2 are individually fixed to synthetic resin ferrules 1, and then, the respective cores 3a of the optical fibers 3 are fixed to prescribed positions at the leading ends of the ferrules 1.
