PURPOSE: An upper structure of a bridge using hollow composite panels and a construction method thereof are provided to facilitate construction of a form, prevent a damage due to a collision by a ship, and reduce the used amount of steel beams. CONSTITUTION: A construction method of an upper structure of a bridge is as follows. Head beams(10) are placed on the top of a pile(100) in the longitudinal direction of the bridge. U-shaped hanging members(20) are joined to the head beam. Main beams(11) are put on the lower side of the U-shaped hanging members, and installed across and apart from the head beams in the traverse direction of the bridge. Composite panels(12) are set on the main beams. Concrete is applied to the composite panels to form an integrated concrete slab. The main beams are removed from the U-shaped hanging members. |
