A display device which conspicuously reduces the generation of the noise generated during the rotation of the display device is provided to offer a stand for a display device of high reliability and reduce the generation of noise during the rotation of the display device. A stand supports the load of a display module(10) and induces the rotation of the display module. The stand comprises the bellow cover(31), a top cover(37) and a drive motor(34). The top cover covers the bellow cover and rotates the display module into one body. The drive motor provides the torque for the top cover. The top cover directly or indirectly contacts the axis of rotation of the drive motor. The axis of rotation rotates on the virtual surface. The virtual surface comprises the contact surface with the axis of rotation. The drive motor is radically arranged inside the bellow cover. The rotation sensor senses the rotation quantity of the display module.
