PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent adherence of marine organisms at a water intake, and to remove nitrogen component contained in nitrogen content drainage discharged from a plant by using one electrolytic device.SOLUTION: An electrolysis system 1 comprises: a seawater line 3 which seawater M introduced into a plant P flows through; a nitrogen treatment drum 7 which nitrogen content drainage W discharged from the plant P is introduced into; an electrolytic device 2 for electrolyzing seawater or saline water, and generating electrolysis treated water E containing hypochlorous acid; an injection line 15 for injecting electrolysis treated water E1 into the seawater line 3; and a branch line 16 branching from the injection line 15 and injecting electrolysis treated water E2 to the nitrogen treatment drum 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
