Disclosed are a section simulation method and apparatus for propagating an acoustic beam in an intersecting line. The apparatus comprises a coordinate obtaining unit, an angle obtaining unit, a section simulation unit, and a path simulation unit. The coordinate obtaining unit is configured to obtain a coordinate value of any point on an intersecting line scanned by an acoustic beam. The angle obtaining unit is configured to obtain, according to the coordinate value, a corresponding dihedral angle and tangential angle of the intersecting line. The section simulation unit is configured to obtain, according to the dihedral angle and the tangential angle, an intersecting line section simulation graph. The path simulation unit is configured to obtain, according to the intersecting line section simulation graph, path simulation information about propagation of the acoustic beam in the intersecting line. The section simulation method and apparatus for propagating an acoustic beam in an intersecting line simulate a propagation path of an ultrasonic acoustic beam in an intersecting line, assist in correctly making an intersecting line detection process, improve the ultrasonic detection quality, and guarantee the life of a product. |
