PURPOSE: A bicycle propelling apparatus is provided to enable a user to ride a bicycle on an uphill road using reserved driving force. CONSTITUTION: A bicycle propelling apparatus comprises a driving gear wheel(5), a watch key, a key protrusion, a key member, a reverse rotation prevention member, and a preventing protrusion. The driving gear wheel idles in winding operation and a limited spring is not reeled no more when being completely reeled. Even in case the pedal is reversely rotated or the rotation of the pedal is stopped, the spring is not unwound. |
