PURPOSE: An apparatus for decomposing harmful gases using arc discharge is provided to reduce manufacturing cost, and to simplify the structure by eliminating complicated design structure related to a cooling process. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for decomposing harmful gases using arc discharge includes a housing(10), a counter electrode(20), a ground electrode(30), an eddy current generator(40), a dielectric part(50), a ground electrode movement unit(60), and a catalyst purification unit(70). The counter electrode is formed on an inner circumference of the housing. The ground electrode is located on an inner side of the housing, and eddy current generator is installed at an inlet of the housing.
