An electronic appliance includes: an apparatus main body; a display device provided in the apparatus main body, the display device being displaceable with respect to the apparatus main body or being detachable from the apparatus main body; a receiving unit provided in the apparatus main body to receive predetermined information from a user, the receiving unit including plural push portions that are activated when being pushed by a user; and a detector that detects displacement of the display device with respect to the apparatus main body or detachment of the display device from the apparatus main body, wherein, in a case where the displacement of the display device with respect to the apparatus main body or the detachment of the display device from the apparatus main body is detected by the detector, a screen for receiving the predetermined information from a user is displayed on the display device. |
