PURPOSE: A timing controller for an LCD device is provided to change signals outputted through each of output terminals by responding to a mode signal outputted from a mode selection terminal, thereby preventing lines from being twisted while obtaining a sufficient valid space. CONSTITUTION: Data lines(43R,43G,43B) connected to output terminals of a timing controller(42) are coupled with input terminals of a data driver(41) without being twisted. The timing controller(42) is fabricated with an ASIC, and the data driver(41) is fabricated with an IC. The timing controller(42) and the data driver(41) are mounted on a top layer of a multilayer PCB. The timing controller(42) selects data outputted from each of the output terminals by a circuit which can select the data applied to the output terminals.
