FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to catalytic composition for synthesis of carbon nanotubes. Composition includes active catalyst and catalyst carrier, with active catalyst containing mixture of iron and cobalt in any oxidised form, with carrier containing swollen vermiculite.
