A milling machine removes the surface layers of asphalt from a road prior to repair or renewal. The tool deposits liberated aggregates onto a conveyer belt for discharge and collection by truck. The milling tool has a co-located air suction hood that collects dust which is discharged via a duct. The suction power is applied at a point well away from the milling tool.
