PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery, etc. that can prevent thermal runaway of a battery to prevent firing and abnormal heating before happens under an abnormal condition such as occurrence of gas in a battery.SOLUTION: A secondary battery 50 has a battery element 20, an exterior package body 10 in which the battery element 20 is housed together with electrolyte, and electrode tabs 21, 25 of positive electrode and negative electrode which are connected to the battery element 20. The secondary battery 50 has a detachable seal portion 115 for partially welding confronting surfaces inside the exterior package body from a sealing portion to a protrusion portion or a separate position of the outer periphery of the exterior package body, and first contact members 111, 114, one of the first contact members being fixed to the electrode tab 21 while the other first contact member is brought into contact with the welded portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
