PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gold bar storage device for securely recovering a gold bar.SOLUTION: A gold bar storage device 500 includes: a gold bar housing; a gold bar drawer that can be opened and closed for the gold bar housing; and gold bar information acquisition units 510 to 516 for acquiring stored gold bar information regarding a gold bar stored in the gold bar drawer. The gold bar storage device 500 includes a controller 10 that receives a recovery command to determine whether recovery information and stored gold bar information in the recovery command match or not. The controller 10 performs abnormality processing when the recovery information and stored gold bar information do not match or performs normal processing when they match.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
