<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an iron golf club which achieves a fine appearance of a muscle back club, wherein a moment of inertia and a size of the sweet spot are increased by improving the center-of-gravity position of the club head. <P>SOLUTION: The golf club has a club head provided with a golf club body 12, a support part 14 and a muscle back shell 16. The muscle back shell is connected with the main body and the support part of the club head. The inside cavity is united with the muscle part of the club, a thin blow face 20 is supported by a support member and a high-density rear sole member is added. Furthermore, the weight from the upper tow is redistributed to other sections of the club head and the weight characteristics can be improved and the weight can be replaced with vibration or sound dampener. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
