DOOR LATCH DEVICE FOR AUTOMOBILE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door latch device for an automobile capable of performing locking and unlocking operation and double locking operation by using a single motor securely by a simple configuration.

SOLUTION: This door latch device for the automobile moves a double lock control pin 23 to a disconnection position through a double lock switching lever 20 by turning a worm wheel 17 from a neutral position into the direction for locking when a first lock lever 13 and a second lock lever 14 are at locking positions. When the double lock control pin 23 is at the disconnection position, this door latch device moves the double lock control pin 23 to a connection position through the double lock switching lever 20 by turning the worm wheel 17 from the neutral position into the direction for unlocking and moves the first and second lock levers 13, 14 to an unlocking position.
