<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of suppressing condensation on the downstream side of a fixing device with a simple configuration and has an improved appearance. <P>SOLUTION: Water vapor produced from paper heated by the fixing device 48 flows upward together with heated air, passes through an exhaust unit 55, disperses and enters exhaust passages 61a to 61h from a lower part of the duct 60. Water vapor that has passed through the exhaust passages 61a to 61d is sent to a paper ejection space 22 in the body of a connected housing 20b whereas water vapor that has passed through exhaust passages 61e to 61h is sent out of the device of the connected housing 20b.
