AROMATIC POLYAMIDE SHORT-FIBER BUNDLE

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aromatic polyamide short-fiber bundle that has excellent affinity, improved handleability and maintains bundling properties (not being loosened) even in dry blending in mainly reinforcing a polyamide-based resin and is uniformly dispersed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The aromatic polyamide short-fiber bundle is bundled with a fiber sizing agent composed of a polyurethane resin and a cationic activator and satisfies the following requirements that (a) 100% modulus of the polyurethane is 0.1-10.0 MPa and (b) the solid content of the fiber sizing agent composed of the polyurethane resin and the cationic activator is 1-20 wt.% based on the total weight of the aromatic polyamide short fiber and the mixing ratio of the solid content of polyurethane/cationic activator is 85/15-99/1.
