PILE DRIVER

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pile driver having a bracing apparatus lifting mechanism capable of lifting a bracing apparatus along a leader with simple structure without needing a drive source. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A lower bracing apparatus 7 is provided with a fixed guide 13 provided at the leader 4; a sliding guide 14 provided in a vertically slidable manner at the fixed guide; a bracing base 15 provided in a vertically slidable manner at the sliding guide; a rod guide 16 at the front face of the bracing base; a sliding guide upper limit stopper and a sliding guide lower limit stopper for regulating the upper limit and lower limit of the sliding guide; and a bracing base upper limit stopper and a bracing base lower limit stopper for regulating the upper limit and lower limit of the bracing base.
