<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pear skin-like surface structure which can easily form a surface structure emitting peculiar blunt metallic luster imitating the designed plane of a structure molded by a sand mold casting method on the surface of a structure molded by a die casting method, and to provide a method for producing the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The pear skin-like surface structure 1 is composed of: a base material 6 composing a structure 3 and in which ruggedness 5 is formed at the surface 4; and a transparent or translucent coat layer 7 formed at the surface 4 of the base material 6 in which the ruggedness 5 is formed and matted as required.
