<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reproduction control device, a reproduction control method, and a program that are suitable for efficiently and successively appreciating panoramic images. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The reproduction control device includes a recording medium 51 where imaging directions from the start to the end of photography of a panoramic image or coordinate information of a subject detected through feature detection of the panoramic image are recorded in association with the panoramic image obtained by compositing a plurality of image data which are converted based upon video made incident through a lens system and obtained by performing photography a plurality of times from the start to the end of photography, and a control microcomputer 55 which determines a scroll direction in reproduction of the panoramic image based upon the imaging directions or coordinate information.
