The invention relates to a device (1) for marking a surface (S) of an object (O) having a supporting frame (2), a marking member (8) capable of producing a point or point-like mark, motion means (18) for moving the marking member (8) along two axes X, Y, perpendicular to each other and to the surface (S) to be marked having motor means (18), means (10) for supporting and moving the object (O) to be marked rotationally about an axis D parallel to at least one of the X, Y axes, having, as a minimum, motor means for rotation about the D axis; and automatic control means (6) for controlling the motion means of the marking member (8) and of the object (O) to be marked along and about the X, Y, D axes; said device being characterized in that the automatic control means include means for redirecting some of the power supplied to the Y axis motion motor means to D axis motion motor means in such a way as to control the D axis motion motor means by the Y axis control and supply means. |
