<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fundus camera configured to use a single imaging means for both observation and photography, and to reduce loss of the amount of light reflected from the fundus when photographing, and to efficiently indicate an internal fixation target. <P>SOLUTION: A quick-return mirror 6 has characteristics of reflecting light of a visible light region and transmitting light in a near-infrared light region. For example, when near-infrared illumination light has a wavelength of about 850 nm, such light can be made incident on an imaging means 7 without the loss of the amount of light and visible light emitted from the internal fixation target 22 is projected onto a subject's eye E. Furthermore, a cornea diaphragm 20a and a crystalline lens diaphragm 15b can be switched to a cornea diaphragm 20b and a crystalline lens diaphragm 15b having different diameters respectively.
