METHOD OF FORMING INORGANIC THIN-FILM PATTERN ON METAL BASE PLATE, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING ELECTRODE FOR LITHIUM SECONDARY BATTERY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem such that, an exposed part of a current collector foil (metal plate) is required for joining a terminal to an electrode in forming an active material layer (inorganic thin film) on the current collector foil, and so there is the risk of active material layer (inorganic thin film) contamination by oil or water in forming the exposed part by a method in a prior art.

SOLUTION: The method of forming an inorganic thin-film pattern on a metal plate includes the steps of: (a) preparing a base plate having a first region where an organic thin film containing one compound selected from phthalic ester and paraffine is formed on the metal base plate and a second region where the organic thin film is not formed; (b) forming an inorganic thin film on the first and second regions of the base plate; and (c) removing the inorganic thin film formed on the first region of the base plate.
