<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silicate solution that excellently acts on biofunctions of animal including human, especially renal function and diabetes. <P>SOLUTION: The metasilicate solution comprises a water-soluble metasilicate and water and has a pH of 8-12. The water-soluble metasilicate is not particularly restricted so long as it has a high solubility in water, the metasilicate is preferably a metasilicate derived from a silicon oxide mineral (rock crystal, quartz etc.), more preferably a metasilicate obtained by firing rock crystal at ≥1,650°C, gasifying and then recovering the resulting substance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
