PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device integrated with a battery cover, in which risk is reliably avoided when abnormality occurs in a battery, and which has less change in a current and resistance even when vibration or impact is applied to a battery cover, and easily manufactured. SOLUTION: In the safety device integrated with the battery cover, the safety device S is formed in a dish shape having a flange surface 31 in the outer periphery, a dish-shaped bottom surface 32 is constituted of: a projection 33 projecting to the center thereof in the power supply element direction; a safety valve 30 in which a groove section 35 and a linear groove section 36 opened toward the periphery by a predetermined pressure are arranged; a dish-shaped insulator 40 having a center hole 41 in the center; and a conductive plate 50. The safety valve 30 is fitted into the insulator 40, the projection 33 passes through the center hole 41 of the insulator 40 and is welded with the conductive plate 50, and the safety valve 30 and the battery cover 10 are welded via a welding assisting material.
