PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a power storage device and a metal battery case, in which deformation of the metal battery case due to inner pressure of a power storage cell can be prevented, a passage of a cooling medium can be secured, and the number of parts can be reduced so that down-sizing and weight reduction can be promoted and manufacturing cost can be reduced. SOLUTION: In the power storage device 10, a plurality of power storage cells 11 in which power storage elements are housed in the square shaped metal battery case 12 are electrically connected, and are arranged so that a gap is formed between the metal battery cases 12, while the metal battery case 12 includes the square shaped metal case 17 in which recesses and protrusions are formed on the outer surface 18, and a resin part 19 that is integrally injection-molded on the outer surface 18 of the metal case 17.
