PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide article storage equipment capable of simplifying a constitution of an article storage part, and efficiently storing a plurality of articles in the article storage part in line in an upward and downward direction. SOLUTION: As article storage processing for storing an article A in an article storage part 3, when an article storage portion 8 which is a storage object is under an empty condition that it does not store an article a, article locating processing for locating the article A on an article supporting face 7 at the article storage portion 8 is executed. When the article storage portion 8 which is the storage object is under a stored condition that it already stores the article a, article piling processing for locating the article A to a top face of the already storage article a is executed.
