<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration-proof device having a mechanism for reducing vibration of a floor of a building, wherein the work can be simplified. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A mechanism B is provided for reducing vibration of a floor A of a building. The vibration-reducing mechanism B is composed of a support body 4 for freely supporting a weight-adjusting object C, a moving means 5 provided on the support body 4 for freely moving on the floor A of the building, a locking means 6 for fixing the support body 4 at any place on the floor A of the building and a vibration absorber 7 for absorbing the vibration between the part of the moving means 5 placed on the floor A of the building and the support body 4.
