<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device preventing concentrated deposit to a part of a separating roller surface, and equipped with a paper feeding device for certainly feeding paper one by one. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the paper feeding device taking out stacking paper by a forward feeding roller 41 one by one and feeding that to a paper feeding roller 42, the separating roller 43 for separating in double feeding is disposed so as to press-contact with and following the paper feeding roller, and a cleaning member 46 is equipped to that. The separating roller is disposed so as to separate from the paper feeding roller while abutting on the cleaning member, thereby enabling cleaning in a rotation state of the separating roller and stabilizing a double-feeding preventive result during paper feeding.
