<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous centrifuge that centrifuges particles from a liquid sample by continuously passing the sample therethrough, wherein loss of the sample due to poor seal at the face seal parts and contamination with cooling water are minimized. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Provided is a continuous centrifuge having a cooling water line 170 which circulates from a control unit 200 to a centrifugation section 100 cooling water for cooling face seals provided at an upper drive part 104 and a lower rotation support part 105, wherein the cooling water line 170 is provided with a plurality of flow rate sensors that detect the flow rates of the cooling water, and the leak of the cooling water or the sample is detected by comparing the outputs of the plurality of the flow rate sensors (171 and 172). As disagreement among the comparison values of the outputs indicates leak of the cooling water or the sample, an error message is displayed on an operation panel 205, and if necessary, the continuous centrifuge, the circulation of the cooling water, or the feed of the sample is stopped.
