摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cargo conveying device which does not require a large installation space and requires less installation cost, which eliminates the operation by a worker at all times and a special control for making the operation of a jib crane in synchronous with the operation of robot, and which has less risk of applying an excessively large load to the robot. SOLUTION: This cargo conveying device comprises a balancer arm 6 for conveying a load secured and the robot 7 operable by playback according to a taught operation program which are secured to a floor 30. The pressure of an air cylinder 4 driving the balancer arm 3 is controlled according to the load of a cargo 1 held by a hand device 2. With a connection mechanism 9 at the end of the robot 7 is joined or affixed to a mechanism to be connected 11 of the hand device 2 at the end 25 of the balancer arm 3, the robot 7 is operated to move the end 25 of the balancer arm 3 for operating the hand device 2 and holding and conveying the cargo 1.
