PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a natural disaster occurrence detection system can detect selectively occurrence of breaking and short circuit over expanded area in one circuit by establishing a disaster detection line and, on the occasion of detecting disaster within a defined area, gaining also an understanding of the proceedings of disaster. SOLUTION: In the disaster detection system detecting disaster within a defined area X using a plurality of natural disaster occurrence detection devices, such that a plurality of natural disaster occurrence detection devices are prepared, which is composed by connecting a breaking detecting circuit 1 detecting breaking of a disaster detection line through flowing of current, a short circuit detecting circuit 2 detecting short circuit of a disaster detection line through flowing of current, and a constant current apparatus 4 installed in natural disaster occurrence estimation areas separately in parallel to a direct current power supply 5 and also by connecting the disaster detection line establishing wiring with the constant current apparatus, by deploying the disaster detection line 3 of each natural disaster occurrence detection device in a plurality of areas a, b, c and d easy to detect disaster within a defined area understanding of the proceedings of disaster becomes obtainable.
