The crucible arrangement comprises a ceramic crucible (1) and a crucible box (2) surrounding an external side of the crucible. A high temperature stable and fluid-tight covering element (3) is arranged between the crucible and the crucible box. The covering element is arranged directly to the external side of the crucible and directly to an internal side of the crucible box, and is made of ceramic paper, ceramic fleece or foamed ceramic casting mass. A ceramic bulk material (4) is additionally arranged between the crucible and crucible box. The crucible is made of oxide ceramic.
