The building has a set of container cells (3) assembled for forming a circle, where the container cells are individually connected with a core or allotment module (2). The core module has two 6-edged container halves, and each container cell represent a circular segment container. A staircase is inserted into each container cell, and a main power supply cable runs under a plane as a ring around the building. Each container cell represents a living cell with an access area, a sewage water supply pipeline (6) and supply pipelines (4) for fresh water and current. A LED illuminates a ceiling. An independent claim is also included for a method for constructing a multi-purpose container building.
