PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device is provided to effectively manage tendency of defect generation related to sealant and specific features through data accumulation. CONSTITUTION: A grid common voltage line is formed in at least one side edge area of the first substrate(110). A common electrode is formed in the second substrate(140). A seal pattern is overlapped on the common voltage line of the first substrate to bond the second substrate. The seal pattern electrically connects the common voltage line with the common electrode. The seal pattern includes a conductive ball. A sealant check pattern(131) is arranged at a predetermined interval in an area of the common voltage line. An applying location and a spreading degree of the sealant are monitored through the sealant check pattern.
