PURPOSE: A rotation angle detector is provided to prevent damage to the rotation angle detection member by limiting the rotation of the rotation angle detection member. CONSTITUTION: A rotation angle detector comprises a stationary gear(180), a rotation angle detection member, and a slip gear. The stationary gear is connected to a rotation shaft(160) which couples a first and a second link member. The rotation angle detection member with a rotation angle transmission shaft measures a relative rotation angle of the first and the second link member. The slip gear has a first slip member(120) fixed to the rotation angle transmission shaft, and a second slip member(130) rotating with the stationary gear.
