<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for processing information capable of easily using an unknown imaging device, and to provide a program. <P>SOLUTION: Limited information for an imaging function is acquired from an imaging device connected to a network, and a set screen limiting selectable parameters for other imaging functions is displayed in response to the selection of the parameter for one imaging function on the basis of the limited information.
