<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element which has a functional film formed on its surface, which is not damaged nor deformed even through a reflow process. <P>SOLUTION: The optical element 16 has a functional layer on the surface of a substrate containing a curing resin, and the difference in coefficient of linear expansion between the substrate and the closest contact layer of the functional layer is not larger than 45 (×10<SP>-6</SP>/°C). The coefficient of linear expansion of the substrate is controlled by including inorganic particles in the substrate and the functional layer is an anti-reflection film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
