<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light guide excellent in uniformity of luminance in a light emission surface as a whole, without dark parts appearing accompanying degradation of luminance in the vicinity of an angle part positioned at a light-incident face side in the light emission surface, to provide a method of manufacturing the same, and to provide a surface light source using this light guide. <P>SOLUTION: The light guide for the surface light source is provided forming a light-incident face 2 which is at least one of side end faces, a light emission face 3 which is one of two main faces facing each other, and a first region A positioned at the light-incident face 2 side of at least one of main faces of the light emission face 3 and its rear face 4, and having a larger average inclined angle than those of other parts in the vicinity of at least one of corner parts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
