FOREIGN MATTER REMOVAL DEVICE FOR TRACK BRANCH SECTION

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foreign matter removal device for a track branch section enabling a reduction in labor for rail maintenance operation without affecting a rail strength. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A sleeper structure formed by combining lateral sleepers 105 disposed in the direction perpendicular to a track with longitudinal sleepers 106 disposed along the track is disposed on the track branch section 100. A header pipe 15 connected to a nozzle unit 14 in a pipe unit 13 is incorporated at least partly in the longitudinal sleepers 106. An air pipe 12 for supplying the compressed air from a pneumatic source device 11 is connected to the pipe unit 13 at the longitudinal ends of the lateral sleepers 105.
