<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet for a cat, capable of preventing sand for cat excrement, the excrement, dirt or the like attached to the cat from being scattered to the outside. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The toilet for the cat has a housing comprising a front opening edge, a storing part communicating with the front opening edge, a lower layer part formed at the position neighboring to the rear terminal in the inside of the storing part, and having a sloped face sloped downward to the front side, a vertical passage formed at the upper part at the vicinity of the rear terminal of the lower layer part, positioned at the upper part of the sloped face, and communicating with the storing part, and an upper layer part having an inlet communicating with the vertical passage, and communicating with the lower layer part, and a tray installed so as to neighbor to the front-side lower part of the sloped face, and so as to be openable from the front opening edge of the lower layer part in the housing, and having the storing part in the inside.
