COMBINED STEEL SHEET PILE, EARTH-RETAINING WALL FORMED BY COMBINED STEEL SHEET PIPE, AND METHOD OF SELECTING COMBINED STEEL SHEET PILE

A combined steel sheet pipe comprises a hat-shaped steel sheet pile and an H-shaped steel.  The hat-shaped steel sheet pile has a web portion; a pair of flange portions provided at opposite ends of the web portion; a pair of arm portions provided at respective ends of the pair of flange portions; and a pair of joints formed at respective ends of the pair of arm portions.  The H-shaped steel sheet pile has a central web portion; a first flange portion provided at one end of the central web portion; and a second flange portion provided at the other end of the central web portion.  The second flange portion is secured to the outer side of the web portion of the hat-shaped steel sheet pile.  The minimum yield point ratio syh/sys between the minimum yield point syh of the H-shaped steel and the minimum yield point sys of the hat-shaped steel sheet pile is not less than 1.105.
